We have at least one felt meeting every year, often it has been arranged together with the annual meeting in various locations. The program has always contained either a felt exhibition, a felting course or some other event. In addition to the official program the informal gathering has improved the cooperation of the members.

Finnish Felt A ssociation gives information by publishing its own newsletter and also by maintaining its website.
The newsletter has articles written by members, photoes of exhibitions, travel reports and greetings from foreign fellow associations. The newsletter has been published since the birth of the association minimum twice a year.

Since 1999 Filtti has been one of the organizers of the summer exhibition in the city of Jämsä.

Twice we have chosen the felt artist of the year: 2004 this title was given to Ms Tuula Nikulainen and 2007 Mr. Eero Lahtinen from Lahtinen felt boot factory got the title. Leena Sipilä has been chosen Feltmaker of the year 2010.

The association raises money for its activities with membership fees.
